UGA senior Kyle Thomas Glasser is a hardworking future medical student. However, his busy schedule doesn’t hinder him from the community programs that Sigma Alpha Lambda offer. In fact, by participating in those programs, Kyle Thomas Glasser believes that he is shaping his future. Sigma Alpha Lambda members have key values that Kyle Thomas Glasser believes in and hopes to promote. Values such as treating others with dignity and respect, innovation, team spirit, honesty and fiscal responsibility are solid character traits that Glasser says make the organization a valuable part of his own personal life.
At first, Kyle Thomas Glasser worried that the extracurricular involvement with Sigma Alpha Lambda might negatively impact his studies. However, says Glasser, this has not been the case at all. In fact, while Sigma Alpha Lambda has countless opportunities for volunteering and requires members to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher, the organization does not require a minimum participation level. According to Kyle Thomas Glasser, this is why it’s possible to balance his GPA with group involvement.
