Empowerment and education are the two most important things to create a successful team, according to Mario Romano. Romano, a highly successful Wall Street Investor with more than 25 years of experience, knows that when a team is educated and empowered there “is no stopping them.”
Mario Romano uses his company Wealth Engineering, co-founded with Annette Raynor, as an example of how the varying strengths of members on a team can shine. “I am straight forward and blaringly honest. Annette is an outstanding presenter who tells the story of our company better than anyone!” points out Mario Romano. A good foundation for a strong team is knowing when to extol the other person’s strengths, says Romano. And while Romano admits that he has a forceful personality, he knows when it’s necessary to take a back seat to Annette’s story telling ability. “But to do that, I must be willing to close my mouth and empower her to take the lead,” Romano explains.
