Pastor Pierre Bennett’s mission for God’s Luv International Ministries Church has grown to include a vision of worldwide ministry care for those in need. With two services weekly in Virginia, God’s Luv International Ministries Church teaches the spiritual unity and priesthood of all believers in Christ.

Each week, Pastor Pierre Bennett encourages his congregation to pray like Jesus. Referring to Mark 14:37, Pastor Pierre Bennett tells his people the story about Jesus intensely praying in the Garden of Gethsemane, only to find his disciples weren’t waiting anxiously to hear what He had discovered during His time of intercession with the Father. Instead, Pastor Pierre Bennett says, they were fast asleep.

According to Pastor Pierre Bennett, the disciples should have been anxiously awaiting Christ’s re-emergence. They should have been asking Him what the plan was as soon as He emerged, Pastor Pierre Bennett says, and they should have done this because they loved Him–because they were the ones He had chosen to walk with Him.

These were the disciples closest to Him, Pastor Pierre Bennett points out. Christ was that garden praying fervently for the strength to carry out his Father’s will—and those closest to Him were fast asleep. Pastor Pierre Bennett quotes, “Could you not watch one hour?” Jesus instructed His disciples to watch and pray in order to avoid temptation. During a time of temptation, Christ told them, “the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak,” Pastor Pierre Bennett relates.

Fervency is important, Pastor Pierre Bennett tells his congregations, but consistency is important, too. According to Pastor Pierre Bennett, prayer brings a believer closer to God and consistent prayer can lead to greater blessings in one’s life. Actually, the truth is that closeness to God is the real blessing. Pastor Pierre Bennett says. So, by bringing a person closer to God, it stands to reason that prayer will bring blessings into our lives, Pastor Pierre Bennett concludes.

When we seek God and His kingdom, blessings will be abundant, Pastor Pierre Bennett believes. First, though, we must learn to walk His holy path. Even if we do not see immediate blessings, we will still win because we’ll be following the Lord.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things  shall be added to you.” Pastor Pierre Bennett quotes one of his favorite Scriptures, Matthew 6:33. The more dramatic the problem, the more dramatic the outcome of our faith, declares Pastor Pierre Bennett. All we have to do is be consistent and fervent in following the Lord.
